2009 Summer Camp was a blast! Our 2011 Camp will be jam packed with fun!
Our 2009 Summer Camp was a huge hit! Our 2011 Camp will feature a Family Movie Night along with lots of activites & games! WEI was able to expand the boys basketball camp to add a girls volleyball camp and Summer Fun Camp for the smaller kids.
WEI Laguerre School Building Advisory Council
Dr. Jowel C. Laguerre, President/Superindent of Solano County Community College is the offical WEI spokesperson for WEI's Laguerre School Rebuilding Advisory Council.
Dr. Laguerre is a Haitian native that has benefited first hand from missions like WEI. It was a mission very similiar to WEI that gave him the opportunity to go to school for the first time. He is living proof that humanitarian missions like WEI work.
Our project is to focus on building structually strong & academically superior schools in Haiti. Our model is the community college system, where the focus is on areas outside Port-Au-Prince. Although we will provide education at all levels, post secondary/trade skill development is a high priority. Quality and sound construction is our primary concern.
